For instance, you can request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only drawback is that it tends to crash into objects and walls at full speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning on the app will show you precisely what the robot has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed including emptying the debris tray and rinsing its dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. And you can see the full cleaning details in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand, though we would like to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. Unlike last year's model this one has an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.
This Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface. It will then automatically alter its direction and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has only three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank self-empties, and the bin is auto-filling.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to take the mount off for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for customized and efficient cleaning while also saving time.

It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is easy to use and intuitive and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to configure. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, look at floor plans and mapping, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's finished.

This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, dirt particles, and clean up spills and soiled spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature has yet to be seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a great way of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There's a plethora of settings available which include the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust a variety of preferences. The app allows you to set these preferences or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options for customising the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are numerous features that other robots do not have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, rather than using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at around 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed and vacuum bot -rotating mops work well on hard floors as well as in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
